Agreement Matters to God

Agreement matters to God

God takes covenant/agreement very seriously.

The Bible teaches us that agreement is a really powerful thing. Agreement is SO powerful that if only two people agree about anything being asked, God will do it. This world has billions of people, but it only takes two of those billions of people to agree on a thing, and it will be done for them! How amazing is that?!

Matthew 18:19

Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.

We also know that agreements matter to God because our God is a covenant God.

Genesis 17:7

And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

What is a covenant? A covenant is the strongest, highest, and most unbreakable form of agreement. There is no higher agreement than a covenant!

A covenant, in its most general sense and historical sense, is a solemn promise to engage in or refrain from a specified action…. distinguished from an ordinary contract by the presence of a seal. Because the presence of a seal indicated an unusual solemnity in the promises made in a covenant, the common law would enforce a covenant even in the absence of consideration. A covenant is an agreement like a contract. [1]

In order to get saved, you had to come into agreement with John 3:16. It’s then that we’re grafted into the covenant that God made with Abraham, and Almighty God sets His seal upon us.

2 Corinthians 1:22 (KJV)

“who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.”

Seal: a device or substance that is used to join two things together so as to prevent them from coming apart or to prevent anything from passing between them.

And all the amazing promises God gives us? We have to come into agreement with them!

What do agreements have to do with t-shirts?

I shared previously the revelation God gave me that “T-shirts are billboards”.

And billboards are advertisements.

As I was reading Ephesians 1 in The Passion Translation, verse 19 jumped up in my spirit as the Lord opened up another layer of revelation.

Today I want to share that layer. I pray it blesses you as it has blessed me:

Ephesians 1:19 (TPT)

“I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immeasurable power as it works through you! This is the mighty power.”

An advertisement!

The Merriam-Webster definition of advertisement is: “a public notice, especially: a paid notice that is published or broadcast (as to attract customers or to provide information of public interest)”

A paid notice!

What you advertise requires an agreement on your part, and where you spend your money puts you in agreement with that entity or idea!

No one would put a political sign in their yard unless they agree with that person, right? And no one would donate to a candidate that doesn’t’ represent their values and views.

In the same way. t-shirts, and the words or images on them, advertise what you agree with!

Think about it…:

Money is exchanged in this agreement (ie: BUYING INTO an idea).

Making it a paid notice.

In this case it’s an exchange of money for words on a tee.

Additionally, as believers we know that money is a seed. It’s sowing into something.

It’s seed, plant, harvest.

And seed, plant, harvest is the government of God, established in Genesis 1:11-12 and again in Genesis 1:29

Genesis 1-11-12 (KJV)

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”

Genesis 1:29 (KJV)

“And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.”

When you buy a tee, whatever it says is what you just backed with your heart.

Literally.

The words overlay your heart and drape the temple of your body.

1 Corinthians 6:19 AMP

“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is within you, whom you have [received as a gift] from God, and that you are not your own [property]?”

It’s the words/imagery on a tee, but also, it’s the companies who makes the tees that gets backed by Christian dollars.

The question is: does the company who made the tee (the paid notice; the advertisement draping your temple) worthy of your support? Does the company support God’s values? Or does it support organizations, agendas, and issues that are counter to God?

And anything counter to God is not of God’s Kingdom.

And, if not of God’s kingdom, there’s only one other kingdom to choose from- the kingdom of darkness.

Ephesians 5:11 (KJV)

“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”

The nike example

Let’s take logo tees for instance, using nike as an example in particular.

You buy a tee with a nike swoosh logo on it. Maybe it’s on clearance and you need a tee to slouch around the house in, and what’s the big deal, right?

We know agreements matter to God, so in that light of Truth, let’s look at the nike clearance swoosh t-shirt:

Who is nike?

You might notice I haven’t capitalized nike. There’s a reason for that. In Greek mythology, nike is a “goddess”, aka a false god, a demon, and hence deserves no recognition in the form of a capital letter.

Drawings and statues of this false god demon are of a winged being in motion.

And a “swoosh” is a symbolic device used to imply motion. Think about the emoji for “wind” on your phone. It’s a series of what? Swooshes.

The nike logo a symbolic rendering of the false god, nike (a demon) in motion.

The nike logo is a direct mockery of the Holy Spirit, who came into the Upper Room and rested upon the disciples of Jesus like a mighty, rushing wind, empowering and filling them with the Holy Spirit of Truth.

Acts 2:2-4 (ESV)

“And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

What about nike as a company?

Remember in 2021, when nike introduced a line of sneakers called satan shoes, with blatant satanic imagery – pentagram, inverted cross, and a drop of human blood in the soles?

“Each pair of shoes is black, and features a bronze pentagram on the laces and an inverted cross, while on the sides of the shoes is a reference to the Biblical passage Luke 10:18. MSCHF claims that the shoes are made with “60cc of ink and 1 drop of human blood”. According to MSCHF co-founder Daniel Greenberg, the blood came from “about six” MSCHF employees. A detail from Jan van Eyck‘s Last Judgement appears to be present on the packaging.” [2]

Diving a little deeper: nike sweatshops – a sanitized way to say slave labor or forced labor. As company, nike has come under fire for its use of sweatshops as far back as 1991 and as late as 2020 [3]. Even the Washington Post reported that Nike purchases goods that it uses to make its products from a factory that “relies on forced labor from Uyghurs.”[4]

Uyghurs live in CCP concentration camps in China.

Pray for the Uyghurs.

That clearance nike swoosh t-shirt isn’t lookin’ like such a good deal anymore, is it?

Don’t let your billboard be occupied by the enemy.

Because it’s not “just a t-shirt”.

(Pray for those at nike, that the Spirit of Truth open their eyes and they come to repentance and the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ, in Jesus Mighty Name, amen!)

[4] An excerpt from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uyghurs

“Since 2014 the Chinese government has subjected Uyghurs living in Xinjiang to widespread human rights abuses, including forced sterilization and forced labor, in what has been described as genocide. Scholars estimate that at least one million Uyghurs have been arbitrarily detained in the Xinjiang internment camps since 2017; Chinese government officials claim that these camps, created under CCP general secretary Xi Jinping’s administration, serve the goals of ensuring adherence to Chinese Communist Party (CCP) ideology, preventingseparatism, fighting terrorism, and providingvocational training to Uyghurs. Various scholars, human rights organizations and governments consider abuses perpetrated against the Uyghurs to amount to crimes against humanity, or even genocide.”
